EAAS Conference 2014: Call for Student Papers and Poster Presentations
European Association for American Studies invites students from all EAAS member states to contribute to this conference by either offering a poster presentation, or by presenting a 15-minute paper. Group (poster) presentations are welcome too. 4th International Re-Thinking Humanities and Social Sciences Conference is to be held at the University of Zadar, Croatia, September 5-7, 2013.
This year’s conference focuses on the ways in which violence is conceived and perceived within different contexts, the ways in which literature, film, performance, and other forms of art relate to and incorporate contemporary outbursts of violence, the new ways in which this process can be theorized in the field of humanities and social sciences, and finally the ways in which this type of violence changes cultural politics of diversity in societies.
