The conference program will feature two keynote lectures and multiple thematic sessions on Anglophone studies in general, including an American studies panel organized by the Croatian Association for American Studies (HUAmS). If your submission is in the field of American studies, please indicate so in your proposal, so that it can be coordinated into one of HUAmS sessions.

The Book of Proceedings from the 10th Annual Conference of the Croatian Association for American Studies, Breaking Stereotypes in American Popular Culture, has been published as open access by FF Press and Croatian Association for American Studies. The volume is available here.

We are pleased to announce that one of our members, Lucija Periš, has been awarded the 2023 EAAS Postgraduate Travel Grant. Lucija is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Osijek, Croatia, and the EAAS Postgraduate Travel Grant will allow her to visit the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts to conduct her PhD research on the intersections between the present-day Black playwriting and the Absurdist movement.
